With just 30 days to go until the BLSA Demonstration Day & Variety Trials 2026, excitement is building across the leafy salads industry, with nearly 60 businesses already registered to exhibit at this year's event.
Taking place on Wednesday 1 July at PDM Produce, Shropshire, the event continues to grow year on year, bringing together growers, agronomists, breeders, researchers, suppliers and industry professionals from across the UK.
Visitors can look forward to exploring more than 200 variety trials, showcasing the latest genetics from leading seed houses alongside established commercial varieties. The trials provide a valuable opportunity to compare performance in the field and assess future options for commercial production.
Alongside the variety trials, attendees will be able to watch live machinery demonstrations, discover the latest technologies and innovations, and browse a wide range of exhibition stands featuring products and services from across the supply chain.
Whether you're interested in new varieties, crop management solutions, machinery, technical developments or simply catching up with colleagues from across the sector, the BLSA Open Day offers something for everyone.
With exhibitor numbers continuing to grow, businesses wishing to secure exhibition space are reminded that stand bookings close on Friday 5 June. Delegate registrations remain open, but tickets must be booked by 24 June to guarantee attendance.
The BLSA would like to extend its sincere thanks to PDM Produce for hosting the event, and to our sponsors whose support helps make the day possible:
