Setting the standards for British leafy salads

The Assured Produce Scheme is a set of guidelines laid down by the industry to ensure best practice across all aspects of growing salad, to promote the safe and environmentally friendly production of fruit, salads and vegetables. The guidelines, or ‘protocols’ as they are known, covers 52 crops in the UK, which are written by specialist advisors.
